CanadaGary and Sandra are wonderful hosts and they made our stay an unforgettable experience. Sandra's blueberry casserole was delicious and the house is beautifully decorated and cozy. We also really enjoyed the nice conversations with Gary.

Walker is a great place to stay if you want to be near the intersection of the two main bicycle paths, The Paul Bunyan State Trail and the Heartland Trail. All of the small towns within cycling and or short drives is fantastic. Especially when all of the places in the other popular small towns are booked, no vacancies. The city beach is very nice and some main street shops and eateries are within walking distance.

Location- very few options in this area with ability to stay only one night and we were really pleased with the place
clean and comfy despite the dated colors and style- they keep the place up - doesn’t smell and nothing is broken or gross - we are sensitive to smells and had no issues
had a lot of “warm” touches - felt like a loving mom or grandma prepared the room and eating area
Nice room and bathroom size- not cramped at all

The lovey peaceful location on Leech Lake is perfect for a quiet getaway. We love riding our e-bikes and the best part of the property was the guest garage where we stored our bikes. We could ride straight out onto the Mississippi Rail Trail each day. The quiet trail extends many miles in both directions! To fuel up for our rides Sandra cooked fabulous breakfasts each morning.

The restaraunt made very tasty and reasonably priced items. The view from the patio of the lake and docks were fun. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful in our visit planning. The recommendation of a Walker loop route to bike was a fantastic help. No traffic noise because it is off the main street and no late or fast traffic.

Breakfast was wonderful, location beautiful view of lake. Staff very friendly. The Inn was very clean. Close to the casino and downtown Walker. Will definitely be staying again next time we travel.
