Be sure to bring sunscreen and shade (umbrella or canopy). Beach is clean and people are friendly. Family-friendly area good for all ages. We recommend is Bristol Plaza Motel. The Bristol has fun activities for kids and adults each day or evening of the week. A visit to the Aquarium on Boardwalk is a must see! The beach is very long but very clean.
The beach is very long but very clean. Plenty of space that you don't have to sit on top of each other. Good restaurants. We ate at Urie's which was excellent. Wildwood Crest is a lovely seaside spot...although it is a long walk from the start of the sand to the water, the sand is flat and packed and easier to walk on than other Jersey shore points. This condo is set apart from the boardwalk by about a mile, so it is in the quieter section of the Crest but is still close to amenities like restaurants and attractions. The location is excellent right on the beach. The pool is heated, very comfortable. More important, the staff is amazing. They extended our checkout time which really made my day by having a chance to spending extra time at the beach and pool. My five year old son also left his teddy bear there which was very special to him. The owner was very nice and the teddy bear is on the way back now.
