The town is small has good food and restaurants, not much too do, but if you drive a few miles there are the caverns and the chiricahua national monument, which is beautiful. take your water, sunblock and walking shoes, there is nothing to buy up at the mountains only a small store for souvenirs

    Great restaurants in Willcox.

Great restaurants in Willcox. We ate at La Unica and Isabel's. Both were very good. We went to look at the Sandhill Cranes that spend the winter in Willcox. Hiking in the Chiricahua National Monument is always great.

    Willcox is interesting.

Willcox is interesting. I really wouldn't recommend visiting it for the sake of visiting it! There is really nothing to do there unless you are there for an event like I was - the wine tasting festival. There are things to explore around the area like the Chiricahua National Monument and park but finding a decent restaurant for any meal of the day was a challenge! One place in particular was awful - Big Tex BBQ - find someplace else to eat! McDonalds would have been better.

Wilcox is just a stop on I 10, not really a tourist...

Wilcox is just a stop on I 10, not really a tourist destination (although there may be some off-roading around there) However, it has several good gas stations and restaurants. It was a good place for us to overnight from Texas to California. Rose's motel is an inexpensive no frills motel a few blocks off of I 10 which was clean with a friendly staff.

    Cute town.

Cute town. We needed a place to stop on our way to Texas and this worked out great. We ate at the Double S Steak House. Food was really good! We stayed at the Arizona Inn and Suites with our dogs. This motel was super clean and looked recently updated. I would definitely go back!

Not much to Wilcox in itself.

Not much to Wilcox in itself. Very typical small town but it did have a Safeway grocery store and a couple of decent restaurants. We stayed in Wilcox for its central location to National parks along with other surrounding towns.

Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 292 reviews
Although the hotel had lost my booking and I could not stay there, the staff were very apologetic and very helpful at finding me alternative accommodation in another nearby hotel. The manager even offered to pay for that accommodation which was a lovely gesture even though I hadn’t prepaid for the hotel and it wasn’t necessary. All was sorted out for me within 20 minutes so caused no stress to me.

Location was great for our travel destinations, room had everything we needed. Accommodation advertised as no breakfast, but were surprised when offered as complimentary. Very nice hotel owners.

Great hospitality from the owner, we traveled with a dog, the highlight of the room is the massage chair, a great hotel for the money, which it costs more. Definitely - I recommend 👌
