DenmarkThis guest house is a true gem in the mountains near Samarkand. The setting is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and a perfect escape from the city. The lovely host family made us feel right at home, and the homemade dinner and breakfast were absolutely superb. Our host speaks great English and shared fascinating stories about the area and life in Uzbekistan through different eras. He even arranged a ride back to the city for us and is happy to pick guests up from Samarkand as well, making the journey easy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, authentic experience with warm hospitality.
