RussiaDuring my recent stay at the Guesthouse, I was captivated by the serene beauty of the surrounding landscapes and the genuine hospitality of the hosts. Nestled in the picturesque village of Upper Hayat, this guesthouse offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in traditional Uzbek village life.
The accommodations are modest yet comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. The meals were a highlight of my stay — delicious homemade Uzbek dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The flavors were rich and authentic, showcasing the culinary traditions of the region.
One of the most memorable aspects was the chance to participate in local activities and observe traditional customs. The hosts warmly welcomed me into their daily routines, offering insights into their way of life. Additionally, the proximity to natural attractions like the Hayatsay Gorge and the opportunity to witness the conservation efforts for the endangered Severtsov’s sheep added depth to the experience.
