Beautiful view from the balcony, hot water with good water pressure in the bathroom, 2 double beds, free breakfast, water refills, motorbike available on site for rent, swimming pool, ping pong table, and billards table available. Fantastic stay, cheaper and bigger rooms than in town, only 7 minutes drive drom downtown. Would definately stay again.

The view on the bay is as shown on the pictures: beautiful. Very nice host. Delicious breakfast. A little outside busy Cat Ba in a quieter area, close to the port where the boats for Halong bay leave. Definitely book the boat tour the host is proposing: beautiful day trip through Halong Bay at very reasonable price.

We booked a room for 1 night, to experience and see if it suits our requirements, but we were surprised because the staff here are very enthusiastic and always make sure to meet our requirements. They also gave us a discount for 2 nights and helped us book cruises on Lan Ha Bay, and helped us book a bus to Ninh Binh, and also helped us book a hotel room although it was not their job but they were always enthusiastic to support me when I needed it whether I was in Cat Ba or at the guest house, the staff always asked me via whatsapp to make sure we were always safe, thank you.

Great new hotel in a small residential area hidden from the main street and traffic noise. The room and hotel in general were very clean, with new functional furniture, nice views, and a great shower. But more importantly with friendly and helpful staff. Truy, the receptionist, is always open to answer any questions or help with any bookings.

It's a fun small hotel, just over 1,5km from the city center (you'll have to walk over a hill). The family running it is helpful and really nice. Especially the older lady made us smile everytime we ran into her. The room had an amazing view and the property was located in the quiet street leading to the small harbour where tourists boats depart from.

For us, it was the perfect stay in Cat Ba. Good location, nice room, friendly staff and a good and cosy coffee shop at the ground floor where you could take breakfast. There was also the possibility to rent bikes (for free) and motorcycles.

The atmosphere provided by the english speaking owner was very pleasant and friendly and the food was really delicious. Very nice stay at cheerful & peacefull place. Possible to rent a scooters and help with booking a transport. We feel really relaxed after a few days at Linh’s family place - with cheerful parents and lovely kids. We do recommend this place!
