Phong Nha Coco Riverside made our stay in Phong Nha incredible. We arrived very early in the morning by night bus, and they were able to fix a room for us to stay in, even though they were fully booked for the night. This really saved our day. They were super helpful in booking a tour (we chose the elephant cave and mada valley tour which was incredible), and took care of everything surrounding the tour. We checked out early in the morning to catch a train and not only did they book transport to the train station for us, but even picked us up breakfast for the road! The room was really nice, really clean and great ammeneties. The breakfast was also very good, many different options and coffee. Overall we couldn’t have wished for a better Homestay during our trip to Phong Nha, highly recommend!

This family owned hotel has the perfect location. Room was great and they were so friendly and help you with everything. You can rent bikes, scooters and transport with them. You can leave your luggage at the reception after check-out and we even got tea and bananas in the evening while waiting for our bus. Thank you, we would stay again! :)

The scenery is breathtaking. The owners and employees are welcoming, hospitable, friendly and helpful and accommodated our every need! The food was varied, delicious and cooked fresh to order. The rooms were spotless and spacious. The pets were friendly and amusing. Definitely come back!

The location was good. It’s a family run hotel. The owners were very helpful. They help you to book tours n buses. I will recommend this place and give 100/100. They allow u to keep the bags after check out time. If I come again to Phong nha I will definitely come back to this hotel. God bless the family.

As a remote worker, I craved both productivity and peace—Nguyen Shack delivered halfway. The serene environment and daily yoga were balm for my burnout, and the riverside hammocks became my office. However, the Wi-Fi was unreliable beyond the common area, making video calls stressful. The vegetarian meals were delicious, and the staff’s homemade ginger tea was a thoughtful touch. Rooms are basic (no AC), but the fan sufficed. Ideal for those unplugging, but tech-dependent travelers might struggle. Still, I left feeling refreshed, if slightly behind on emails!

This place is so amazing... the mountain view with rice field. The hosts are beautiful people. They helped us in everyway to make our stay comfertable. There is no comparision for value for value i have ever achieved in my travels. Peaceful location.

    Lovely area that is not as touristy as others.

    Lovely area that is not as touristy as others. Phong Nha cave and Paradise cave were both lovely to visit. We hired a motorbike between two people and visited them ourselves. Cheaper than doing a tour. And we got to see lovely scenery enroute to the caves. We also joined some others for the boat to Phong Nha caves to share the cost of the boat.

    Very nice room, local bathroom system unusual for westerners. Breakfast ok ( except coffee wich in most places Phong nha is not good) very good help from Linh Over all I give a 8-9 grade to my experience at this hotel

    A long boat ride into the cave followed by a quieter paddling inside. The caves is huge largest I've ever been and very impressive with the structures. After boat ride, we walked a short while allowing to view them up close.

    We have been to Phong Nha many times, 8 times already. We go Phong Nha for a quiet and peaceful time and at the same time you have the opportunity of adventures like visit the biggest cave in the world (booked in advanced)

    We did the Phuong Nha Kayak tour and this was awesome.

    We did the Phuong Nha Kayak tour and this was awesome. We went way past where the boats go and went into two different caves. One cave we went in over 1 kilometre. We had the option of a mud bath and swimming. A much better experience than just hoping in a boat and going into the cave and out again. We went to paradise cave. This is a must do. We only did the 1 km boardwalk. We road there on a bike. No need for a tour. Next time I would do the 7km hike into the cave but this is a tour.
