Most comfortable family rooms on the island. Great location. Friendly staff. Rooms gets cleaned every day (and new towels and water). No fridge in room, but you can use the fridge in the kitchen. Friendly and fair owner that speaks good English. Nice breakfast for sale. Owner helps to book boat tickets. You can pay with cash or card for everything. Lots of monkeys around. Fun to watch, they don’t bother you. There was a storm coming when we visited (which meant no boats for one to two days) and he was very transparant about it and offered us to leave early and refund us or to stay longer with a discount. We stayed and enjoyed 5 nights on the island instead of 3. ☺️ You can rent motorbikes or explore by foot (no cars on the island). There’s a great beach (called XEP beach) 10 min walk from the hotel. The island is much cleaner than the mainland, the people look after it.

The Homestay is in an excellent location, central, with direct sea-view, quiet, clean and with an excellent wi-fi. Breakfast is not included, though you can have huge pancakes and enjoy them on the cosy little terrace in front of the entrance, in the shade of the trees with sea-view. Though what makes this little Homestay stand apart is the kindness and organisation of Mrs. Hang. We were supposed to be spending two nights in Cham‘s Corner Looutout Homestay, though due tu bad weather, we could only spend one night there. What we miss the most is the extreme kindness of Mrs. Hang. She did all the best she could and with all her heart, to help us through the impleasant situation of leaving the island one day earlier and organised for us an amazing excursion and the transfer back to the mainland. We can easily recommend Mrs. Hang Homestay, for a pleasant stay in Cham Island.

The family are very friendly and helpful, there son speaks good English and can help arrange anything you like. They have there own boats to take you snorkeling and can rent you snorkel equipment if you wish to just go to the beaches yourselves. The room is basic but clean and all that you need for a stay on the islands. The breakfast was really good with bread, eggs and delicious fruit! They can also arrange the ferry ticket for a cheap price and will offer to pick you up and drop you off at the ferry pier on the island if you like.

I loved it here, best homestay I have been too. The family were so sweet and welcoming. Genuine people who went out of their way to help. The location was awesome it was on the quieter side of the island and even the quieter side of the main strip in that section close to the temple which I loved. My room was lovely I booked the sea view room a bit more expensive but worth it. Two windows one sea view and a balcony. Aircon was working well and even had my own bathroom and shower. Overall 10/10 would stay again.

    The snorkeling here is mediocre.

    The snorkeling here is mediocre. The visibility is not very good, and the coral and fish are not worth the effort. The town itself is chill, but the food is not so special. Da Nang and Hoi An had better restaurants.

    Booked 5 nights to relax but reduced to 3 as very little to do and lacking facilities for lounging on beach. Beaches were a hot walk away, with steep climb. Some nice seafront cafes - local, not Western.

    This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it.

    This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it. Only guesthouses and bikes. Great nature and diving. You can drive up to the lighthouse, but circular movements around the island are now impossible, in several places there are collapses of stones. Look for guesthouses with fresh good reviews, they may not have a sea view, but there will be clean comfortable rooms. Good diving spots! 1-2 days is enough for the trip
