    What an interesting and wonderful area!

    What an interesting and wonderful area! It's beautiful and there's so much to see - from the city itself with its very lively market, to the pottery area with its iconic kilns, to the adjacent island of An Binh, which is rural and very beautiful. We ended up changing our plans to stay in the Vinh Long area several days longer.

    Vinh Long is a great city for tourists, as you experience...

    Vinh Long is a great city for tourists, as you experience local life easily. There are nearly no other tourists around, we only saw one other group on our 2 day trip. The city has great places to eat and is easy to discover by bike. The Bus station can be reached via West Bank Station in Ho Chi Minh. We were very grateful that the home stay Mekong Pottery offered organized trips and also the options to have dinner at the home stay. There was a lot of information provided on the website. The host was always present and open for answering our questions. We recommend the trips we booked via the home stay a lot! We had a great stay. The room and the outdoor bathroom are beautifully made and fit the surroundings so well. It's a little oasis for travellers.

    We were the only guests during our 2 nights stay. Therefore it was very calm. The host were very welcoming and manage transportation from the ferry to the homestay and helped us book ticket to go to Saigon. The room was very large for 3 people and the private outside shower is really enjoyable. We were able to use the swimming pool in tne neighbouring homestay. Breakfast was excellent! Our host also organized a boat tour on the Mekong delta.

    Great location on ab binh island. I came here because of the reviews but not sure how they got a score of nine and above I have stayed in way better homestays cheaper and more comfortable too
