    The Whole Area has come up a lot over recent years.

    The Whole Area has come up a lot over recent years. Downtown is horrible, overbuilt, smelly and traffic jammed but the harbour and castle area are still pleasant. The real delight for us anyway is access to the coast and the mountains of Besparmak for walking /hiking and swimming / in water activity. and Lapithos / Lapta and Guzelyiali are ideal for this We had lunch on the mountain in Lapithos / Lapta village at MIMOSANTE Restaurant in an old traditional house, great views, great menu and attentive service. Good Prices by todays standard and YES! a private car park just beyond the building

    One of my favourite places to have a glass of beer and...

    One of my favourite places to have a glass of beer and people watch is Kerynia Harbour but for evening meals it has to be at Ezic Peanuts Restaurant lietrally five minutes walkaway from the hotel down a steep road but we use the car to go there and back, time 1 minute either way.

    A nice place to visit , loads of history and culture in the surrounding area, bellpais monastry, st hillarion castle, well worth hiring a car or taking a trip to karpas or to some of the fantastic beaches across the north e.g. alagadi. escape, golden sands. Nice harbour area and shopping in kyrenia, nice places to eat out and reasonable value.

    Only had one night there so could’ve spent a bit more time.

    Only had one night there so could’ve spent a bit more time. Traffic was mad. Not sure if this was compounded by the Easter weekend but it was a nightmare. Parking for the property was nearby and easy to deal with.

    I would recomment to go to Nicosia {Greek side of the island...

    I would recomment to go to Nicosia {Greek side of the island, from where you could take a bus to Limassol, Larnaka and Paphos}, Famagusta, Bellapais, Varosha {Ghost town}, and also visit Blue House in Tepebas. It is easy to get around Kyrenia, no need for expensive taxies, there are buses and dolmush that would take you anywhere for a reasonable price.

    One of my favorıte ısland cıtıes. Beautıful old cıty. Gorgeous sea sıde walks wıth cafes ın Marına. Many restaurants wıth good food. Safe cıty. Nıce people. Excellent weather even ın wınter tıme.

    Claire and Martin met us on arrival and explaining how the entire (enormous) villa operated: kitchen, water, wifi etc. So much room in this wonderfully restored former bakery, close to supermarkets, etc, The very well-stocked fridge included food and drinks that we enjoyed throughout our week. The hosts were always on call to help. Linen was fresh and clean. a very magical place from which to explore Cyprus (from the north)

    It was a great hotel from A to Z. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially Esra from customer relations department. All the staff do their best to make sure you have a great time. Rooms were very clean. The pools, the beach, and the resting area were very clean and tidy. It is a family-friendly hotel. Foods and the desserts are very tasty. I do recommend anyone who wants to go to Northen Cyprus.

    The hotel itself and the facilities were good. However, the hotel is situated right next to the Kyrenia Port, where large ferries and numerous smaller boats pass by regularly. Because of this, the sea was dirty half of the time during our stay there. If swimming in the sea is important to you, this is not the best hotel to stay in.

    Breakfast 5*. Hotel, room, staff, prices all EXCELLENT. Living in the south of Cyprus, we wanted a couple of days away before my wife's spinal operation. This hotel did not disappoint in anyway. Look forward to a return visit soon.
