absolutely everything!!! just WOW!!!! unfortunately the booking.com rate only allows you to give up to 10. we would give it more. From the time you arrive, you are welcomed by the nicest and friendly staff. They make everything for you to feel cared. the tend is huge, and so well decorated, you really feel that you’re on a 5 star safari tend. the food was amazing, there was an event with local cosine dishes, and some of the drinks and loca beers were included. We did 2 game drives (morning and afternoon) they served drinks, snacks, mosquito repellent, blankets, rain ponchos, binoculars, everything you’ll need. we saw lions, cheetas, giraffes, serval, elephants… our guide Derek was the best!!!!! he’s gone beyond expectations, to make sure we had the best experience ever. we will definitely come back. Janita, from reception, was also very kind. we can’t complement enough. wifi works well throughout the hotel.

    Covid has severely impacted business around Badplaas.

    Covid has severely impacted business around Badplaas. We noticed quite a few resorts that had not survived. Forever Resorts denied access for day visitors over the Easter weekend, I believe that this would seriously jeopardise other resorts as there is nothing else to do in Badplaas.

    We stayed at Dawsons, which was fabulous.

    We stayed at Dawsons, which was fabulous. Badplaas is rundown and not a good place. Dawson's were our 3rd visit and we will be back again. Bertie and the WHOLE staff were attentive, accommodating and the Lodge beautiful and serene. The setting, views and surrounding area stunning. We will be back again.
