A perfect, secluded property in the heart of the countryside. Close to de Hoop nature reserve. Beautiful scenery in the fields around us. The house itself has been perfectly renovated. It doesn’t have electricity, but it is set up for that with battery lights and candles. Make sure to bring all you need food-wise (good supermarket in Swellendamm). We had a romantic dinner, then used the fantastic wood fired hot tub and were lucky enough to star gaze and see the milky way!

Beautiful farm with nice dogs around, close to de hoop in the middle of wide farmlands. the hosts are really welcoming, helpful and show and explain farmlands and farming, if you are interested in that. The location on the river is spectacular. The accommodation was well equipped and we did not want for anything. The host was extremely friendly and accomadating. Got the best lamb I ever tasted from the farm. Facilities are well laid out and private. Super safe and no keys, what a wonderful feeling

The room was really special with many touches that we appreciated such as the mini bar, magazines, coffee pods, shower cap and fluffy extra blankets. The spotless and spacious bathroom, and the large bed made for a wonderful night. The property is quiet, with leafy trees; parking is nicely located and it is safe. Breakfast was a delight.
