    We only stayed one night on road trip to the coast.

    We only stayed one night on road trip to the coast. The scenery around Elliot is lovely and the roads are in good condition with very low traffic volumes. The town is clean with a number of B&Bs available. From Elliot we drove through Ugie and on to Mthatha and then to Umngazi Hotel at Port St Johns. I would not hesitate to travel this route again.
