Everything we expected and more, perfect for a group of friends looking for a wonderful authentic mountain experience. WIFI in a remote area was an added bonus if you need to work. Bikers heaven!!! Cannot wait to go back to share with friends. Angies G Spot down the road is amazing for a drink and some easy meals.

It was half way on our stop in Plettenberg bay. A very interesting location and the history of this old house.

Lairds Lodge Country Estate is located between Plettenburg Bay and the Langkloof Mountains. All of the rooms have air conditioning. The hotel has a library and an outdoor pool.

We can only recommend to stay here if you are looking for a place around Plettenberg Bay. The staff is extremely friendly and so helpful. The food both for the breakfast as well as dinner was so so delicious. You definitely need to eat here for dinner, top tier cuisine! It has a lovely bar with a great selection of drinks. Plenty of parking available, sourrounded by a beautiful garden.

Everything was spot-on. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The walk around the property was so refreshing, best gardens we have ever seen. Simola is Exceptional in every way. Roxanne and her team were wonderful hosts indeed. We can't wait to go back.

It has been a wonderful place to stay, whether for a short or long time. The house is beautiful, located in the middle of a farm and right in front of the elephants’ reserve path. Every day, when they walk by, you can see them in the distance while comfortably enjoying your breakfast. The house itself is truly charming and comfortable. Everything was new, and we found all the essentials we may need. But the best part is the owners. They are lovely people who showed us around the farm and shared their stories with us. They are fascinating, kind, and make you want to keep listening and learning more. Anyone who loves animals or plants would truly enjoy hearing them talk and witnessing their love and care for their animals. It has been a real pleasure meeting them. Thank you for your kind gestures, and especially for the handmade bread and marmalade you left for us in the house—they were absolutely delicious! We felt as comfortable as if we were with close friends.
