A great welcome. A beautiful property in beautiful surroundings. Excellent food - dinner and breakfast. Jenny encourages guests to get to know each other with pre-dinner drinks at the bar. Our party felt this was the best overnight stay of our whole South Africa holiday. Pity we couldn't stay longer

Upgraded us from the St lucia lodge to hippo lodge which we weren't happy about but really weren't given a choice as hotel shut apparently but in the end we had a really good time at hippo lodge .reception staff was brilliant and made sure our stay and requests for a safari trip were made a reality
