    Pretoria was a great experience overall — the city has a lot to offer and I enjoyed exploring it. That said, I’d recommend visiting with someone if you can. Traveling alone is fine, but it’s definitely more enjoyable when you have company to share the experience with.

    I lived in Pretoria for 5 years before moving to the UK.

    I lived in Pretoria for 5 years before moving to the UK. Pretoria has its own special uniqueness. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many of the smaller shopping centers had been upgraded and new shops added. However, the road works on Solomon Mahlangu Drive have been going on for years, I have been gone for 2 and a half years, and that particular road is still a nightmare. One word of warning to travellers is don't presume that because the traffic light is green you can go, way too many drivers think a red light means they can keep going. Saw a few nasty accidents while there. I found in general, SA has become ridiculously expensive, especially when eating out. Keep valuables in the trunk of your car and always check that your vehicle is locked before walking away to do shopping.

    Safe and clean with reliable public transport and friendly people. My favourite places were the Woodlands Boulevard Mall and Atterbury Value Mart. There were a variety or restaurants where I able to dine.

    I generally love Tshwane (Pretoria).

    I generally love Tshwane (Pretoria). I love the access to Monuments, Theatres and Malls. I like the cleanliness even in the streets. I even plan to come for another weekend to do some of the things that are in my list. Particularly the Freedom Park.

    Spent more than two hours at the gate trying to get codes,also the address on booking.com got us lost. We had to go through another back and forth with the host trying to find the keybox, and the host was very impatient.

    The location is central and therefore convenient. It is in a quiet part of the neighborhood (Arcadia). The landlord is is very helpful. There was a hot shower. The parking is secure and I was permitted to park at the venue before check in time, which was appreciated. I will be happy to book at the Amazing Room again.

Very well equipped rooms! This was my second stay, and it will definitely remain my go-to place for future visits.
