More of an upscale Florida-style residential community than a tourist destination, but the sandy beaches along the estuary are beautiful. With the lighthouse inexplicably closed, Seal Point - desolate and windwept - was a disappointment. Standout restaurant for the evening was Chokkablock. It's popular and you do need to book. We were able to reserve a table by email. For a relaxed lunch head to the excellent Coastal Collective cafe. We ate at Mauros restaurant and the food was really good but the place that blew our minds for the service, food and atmosphere was the Rambling Rose. They went out of their way to help and with me being vegan ..... went the extra mile to accommodate me. The setting of the restaurant was also beautiful and relaxing. The roads, except for the main road are in very poor shape and made driving around unpleasant .... not sure if I would be in a hurry to go back .... which is sad because we used to spend all our holidays there when our children were younger .... early eighties to early nineties.Guest review byDeborahAustria - 10.0

Lovely beach walks---at St Francis Bay and nearby Cape St Francis. both of which are very attractive to surfers. Well provided with a variety of restaurants and shops. The breakfast was lovely and it was evident that they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. You are allowed to use the Kayaks and bicycles to explore during your own time which were lovely extra we appreciated.
