The hotel is great. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. There is a nice restaurant on the 9th floor (reservations are a must). Very nice breakfast/brunch canteen as well (open in the evening as well). There is a small drink/food shop as well. The view from the top of the hotel is gorgeous - make sure even if it is not pool season to go and take a look at Lion's head. Totally recommend. For Cape Town it is essential to have all these at hand without the need to walk out at evening. Area was okay but still Cape Town for me is not really a place for evening stroll. During the day - it is close to the beach and Beach road with a lot of people, bars, etc.

It was very cosy and warm. Russel was an amazing host, helpful at guiding to what activities would be good and a chat by the lovely fire afterwards on the day's experiences was awesome. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and cookies to snack on were the best.
