It is ts the little touches which make it extra special. Comolimentary Filter coffee; rusks; and milk for morning coffee; chocolate on the bed. The uninterrupted views of the majestic mountains and underberg valley were gorgeous. We were kept very warm, with plenty of blankets and a beautiful fireplace. We also loved the view from the lodge. The lady looking after was so warm, welcoming and very helpful. The owners of the lodge were also very helpful and left a very helpful list of good restaurants and things to do. The bottle of wine left for us was a lovely touch. The surroundings were beautiful, the lodge was amazing and my only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The owner, Wolf Avni was so hospitable and made us feel so at home. He even sent through a hot loaf of freshly made bread and their trout patè. It was a wonderful touch. The hiking trail was amazing and highly recommended. The cabin we stayed in had a lovely fireplace that we used almost everyday because of the weather. The cottage had everything you needed and was in pristine condition. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. In the evenings they would pack and light the fireplace making the cottage even more cozy. It is ideally situated for a morning run/walk, horse riding, paddling, etc and to the restaurants scattered along the Underberg surroundings.
