Guests at Kooringa Cottage can enjoy hiking and walking tours nearby, or make the most of the garden. Kooringa was a beautiful comfortable cottage with a lovely host called Arlene. There was absolutely everything we needed for a great stay. The bed was very comfortable with electric blankets plus a split system in the bedroom as well as the loungeroom so we were toasty warm. The shower was also great, roomy, spotless and with little extras including a shower cap, electric heater, hair dryer etc Arlene also provided cereal, bread, butter, condiments, milk and juice for a nice breakfast and the bread was so nice we had 4 pieces each. There were so many extras including local information, magazines and books to read and when we had a shower there were comfy robes to put on. The entire home was spotless and the gardens were also lovely and it would have been nice to have had more time to sit and relax. We will definitely stay again next time we are travelling through Burra.

Situated in Littlehampton, in a historic building, 32 km from Big Rocking Horse, Tara Stables is a chalet with a garden and bar. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. Fabulous property with plenty of space, all amenities you might need, including washer and a nice vinyl record player (!). But most of all we liked that this property had such a lot of character. I personally felt at home immediately. Nice furniture, books, TV and even a Leonard Cohen record for the vinyl player in the lounge area :-) Being greeted with a loaf of fresh bread and a hand written notice from the owners was the icing on the cake. Really outstanding! On top of it all, the place is pet friendly and allowed us to take our dog along.
