Yahya is the perfect host, he really understands how to make his guests feel comfortable and at home: homemade lemonade upon arrival, cold water in the fridge, crispy white sheets, lovely Nubian music, delicious breakfast. He is very helpful and knowledgeable about the temple. We wholeheartedly recommend Karma Kono.

Our arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.
