Both drivers had good English and were reasonably priced. Thank you very much to Dolvi (staff at Ara) for driving us and being so patient with the construction on the way and driving us to dinner that evening. - Large, spacious and clean room. - Beautiful surrounding gardens. The properties back on to a bamboo forest and river. - Simple and nice breakfast. We were served fresh avocado which came from the tree on-site. - Recommend to visit the spider web rice fields which are close by.

He made us a delicious diner and afterward we had some drinks together. We forgot our camera (with our honeymoon photos) at the villa, which we noticed in Labuan Bajo an hour before our taxi would bring us to the airport. Laurent rushed to the hotel to give us our camera back on time. I'm so grateful! This shows the dedication he has to care for his guests. Thanks Laurent for everything 🙏

At the holiday home, some units are fitted with a coffee machine and fruits. Ernesta and Irwin were the best, they were kind and thoughtful and even brought us to a neighborhood party which was an amazing experience. The food for dinner and breakfast was some of the best we’ve had in Flores, and the room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here and felt like we were a part of the family. We were sad to leave.

Stunning views, amazing staff, beautiful garden, best breakfast I’ve had in Bajo, and incredible pool. This place is so well decorated and laid out. We stayed in Villa Dua (2nd Villa which there are 2 connected and right next to each other but otherwise private). Villa 1 sleeps more but the rooms are smaller and living space is smaller because it has another bedroom. The open air style living area and kitchen are STUNNING. This is hands down the best place to stay in Bajo if you want privacy, amenities, and an amazing breakfast. It felt like a 5 star hotel for sure.
