We originally had booked another hotel on Gili Air, but after one night decided to change due to noise from construction and rusty water filling the bath. Ari and his team welcomed us and had our villa ready within 30 minutes of booking. When staying on remote islands with limited infrastructure, I have found you typically have to temper expectations just a little, but this was not the case at Lasai. We were in villa 1, an absolutely beautiful room with cold AC, sparkling pool, soft and comfortable mattress, and plenty of hot water for a nice relaxing bath. The photos on the website don’t do it justice! Very well insulated so you can’t hear the Muslim prayers at 0400, and light blocking shades ensured a restful sleep. Daily breakfast was served in the villa and a filtered water cooler made our stay extra comfortable, and the mini bar had great wine and other soft drinks. No request was too much trouble and they always replied quickly via WhatsApp. Another review mentioned the ‘delicate’ robes. I wore the robe daily, it was SO comfy and soft, and very well made. This place will forever be our go-to on Gili Air!

One of the best location on this island. The private swimming pool was the cherry on the cake. Location close to beach and city center but the faciliy is giving you free bikes. Cahaya Villas is by far the best property ever with Tony being the best caretaker ever. The stay is so comfortable and they provide you with enough parking space for the cycles. It's a super elegant property and you would not feel like leaving the place, properly situated at the middle to both the sides of the island, just 15 minutes max by cycle to both side. Tony and his wife made an extra effort to set the room for us everyday especially when we reached first, made arrangements on request for a sunset boat evening, snorkeling and everything you could ask for at Gili T! We truly miss this place even after we are back home, and we can not say this for any other location

This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 6.5 km from Bangsal Harbour. This was the best little get away we have had in our 10 years together, it was perfect! It was a beautiful romantic stay for us, something about the salt air, the sand between your toes and a glass of wine with your loved one as you look at to the ocean that is hard to put in to words. We will be recommending this amazing cottage to all our friends and we hope to return again in the next 12 months.

Our stay in Villa Cinta was very comfortable & tranquil. Located within walking distance to the Main Street with all shops & restaurants available, its location is super quiet, private, yet convenient. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Suep, the villa keeper, with cold juice & some cookies. He was very kind, friendly & helpful; taking care of anything we needed including fixing the AC in one of the rooms promptly, & helping us arrange a snorkeling trip, bikes, & even a horse to help us get to the port for our departure boat. The location is amazing and is on the sunset part of the island with good restaurant as well. The staff is awesome and will do anything to make your stay incredible. We were welcome in the harbour with a horse carriage which was really cool to go to the villas. The villas were beyond our expectations and the breakfast served directly at the villa was perfect for our little family. Would definitly recommend.

We stayed at Villa Kayu on Gili Air for my wife’s 50th birthday celebrations, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness by Gary, the owner, and Dian, the general manager. Their hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The villa itself is beautifully maintained—spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and offering everything we could possibly need for a comfortable retreat. Dian went above and beyond to arrange a fantastic boat trip for my wife's birthday, allowing us to snorkel at several stunning spots where we encountered vibrant marine life, including plenty of fish and turtles. Upon returning to the villa, we were touched by the thoughtful gesture from the staff—a lovely handwritten note, delicious cookies, and a stunning birthday cake made entirely out of fresh fruit. It was the perfect way to end the day! While the villa is not beachfront, it remains an excellent value for money given its quality and the exceptional service provided. We would rate the villa a solid 9, with the staff deserving an unwavering 10 for their warmth, attentiveness, and generosity. The hospitality of the Indonesian people has truly left us in awe, making this trip an experience we will cherish forever.
