It features an outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. Everything was excellent. The friendly staff, the fantastic dinner where you meet people from all over the world. Lot's of top class local food and almost "unlimited" wine supply from the house was included in the dinner package that you should not miss. Superb! The pool area was very nice and relaxing. You could also take long walks in the wine yards with fantastic views over the Douro valley. The room was very nice. Fantastic old style but gently renovated.

Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the pool and river. Very friendly staff who made sure we had a pleasant time. Beautiful location and view. Comfortable furniture of excellent taste.

With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. The holiday home features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious with everything needed for our stay. While not actually in Guimaraes we used Uber (Bolt also available) to get to the town for just 5 Euros each way, which gave us a welcome break from driving. Although on quite a busy road, inside the apartment was peaceful and quiet. The host was easy to communicate with and excellent in answering any questions we had. All in all this was a very good place to stay.

The hotel is nestled in the middle of the trees with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Douro River and the surrounding valleys, absolutely wow! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Beatriz, who went above and beyond throughout the whole weekend to make sure we had everything we needed. On Saturday, we decided to fully enjoy the hotel: we relaxed by the beautiful swimming pool and later had a wonderful wine tasting experience with Manuel. The conversation was fascinating, learning about the history of the Douro Valley and the different local wines , truly a highlight. The food, prepared by Donna Esperanza, was outstanding! Delicious, authentic dishes that truly reflect the flavors of this region of Portugal. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway to relax, disconnect, and recharge, I can’t recommend Dajas Douro Valley enough. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!
