Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Everything. Nice new modern style. Loved the convenience of dinner and breakfast on site. We used the sauna and the bathrobes.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. Lovely staff and room. Really liked the touch of putting your name on a list on check-in to have a wake up call when the northern lights were active. Amazing views of the northern lights and very good value for money. Breakfast was lovely, great variety, something for everyone.

Beautiful, clean room. Every staff member we interacted with were wonderful, especially Adele at the front desk and Tomas in the restaurant. This hotel is top notch and we decided to book another stay here towards the end of our trip because we loved it so much! The dinner was fabulous! We enjoyed every part of it from the homemade bread to the delicious main courses to the incredible desserts!!

We arrived late, but the letter and room key were waiting for us at the reception. The hotel has many cozy seating areas and good Wi-Fi. Outside, there is a sauna and hot tubs – it was a wonderful opportunity to relax. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

It is well maintained, clean and in a perfect location. The breakfast buffet is amazing, there are even mimosas. Lots of space to lounge in the lobby and have fun. It is also quiet and the hallways and rooms are spacious. Lovely stay! The restaurant for dinner was also amazing.

Restaurant in the hotel very good standard of food for both breakfast and dinner...the fish soup and lamb divine.
