I had a really lovely stay at Palmera Zanzibar Eco Hotel! What stood out the most was the incredibly kind and attentive staff. Their warmth and hospitality truly made the experience special. It’s clear the hotel prioritizes service, and I really appreciate that they offer hospitality training programs, which is reflected in how well guests are cared for.
One of the highlights was how helpful the team was in arranging a taxi for us to visit Paje for the day. Everything was easy and smooth. The low tide at Palmera was absolutely beautiful and made for a memorable experience.
The overall vibe at Palmera is peaceful and welcoming, with a genuine eco-conscious spirit. I also really enjoyed the vegan food. It was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

We had an incredible experience at Infinity Boutique & Spa Resort in Matemwe. The entire stay was filled with a peaceful, relaxing vibe that made it hard to leave. The staff and even the owners were truly living, caring, and genuinely supportive. They went above and beyond to help us arrange activities, always using high quality, reliable drivers, which made exploring Zanzibar stress-free.
The food was another highlight: hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every meal was a treat, and the attention to detail was impressive.
From the setting to the service, this place is a true gem. If you’re looking for comfort, tranquility, and top-notch hospitality, this is it.
Absolutely a 10/10. Highly recommend!

It is a very quiet place, far from the crowds. The situation is calm. A slightly isolated place where you can rest and relax. Next to it is a diving center and a restaurant (The Rock). There is a supermarket nearby, but no restaurants, cafes, or parties. It is an ideal place for those who want to relax, swim, and dive without disturbing the city.

We had a wonderful stay at Pangani Cliffs! The staff and managers went above and beyond to make us feel truly welcome and cared for. The food was outstanding, every day brought a new dish prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. They also arranged a fantastic boat trip to Maziwe Island, where we had a great time. We loved exploring the reef at low tide, unwinding by the pool, and enjoying delicious cocktails with a breathtaking ocean view. I would highly recommend spending at least 2-3 days here, as there are plenty of activities to enjoy and discover. 😍
