1 hour from Frankfurt Airport. Lovely quiet rural area. Amazing Breakfast. Delicious evening meal. Beautiful view from our large room. Wilfried made us feel very welcome.

The very large apartment with own door has everything you would think you might need, and caters for a longer stay. Everything has a personal touch and you can see it was renovated with love and cleverness. It is an old main house with farm building adjoined. A little courtyard with a lovely country style garden, sleepy cats and just amazing to sit in and have your thoughts wander off. The host are very nice and discreet, and leave you be, but offered help to do a taxi ride for us, when we got stuck. Also left a bunch of fresh farm eggs on the breakfast table. In all I loved this place.

This guest house is located directly on the River Lahn in Laurenburg.

I had an early flight so I left before breakfast was served. However the dining room was well-stocked with snacks readily available, and a coffee/espresso machine available 24/7. Very thoughtful options for travelers! This is located in a beautiful area; we stayed in the apartment and had a view of the river, which was just gorgeous. The apartment is large and has everything you would need for a comfortable home-feels stay. I will 100% return to stay here the next time I am in the area!

Set in a 400 year old building, this historic hotel offers spacious rooms and suites as well as free parking. It lies in the picturesque town centre of Idstein, a 5-minute walk from the castle.
