I am a very frequent traveller and stayed in more than a hundred 5 star hotels all over the world and I can say that Hotel Rector is easily one of the best. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, beds are comfortable and breakfast is fantastic. I wish there is a Hotel Rector and in every city, I will choose no others.

The reception staff was excellent. The location was very handy and easy to walk to many interesting places. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Loved everything about our stay but especially the staff.. we were welcomed by a friendly young man which set the scene for a lovely 2 night stay.

Excellent comms- we finally arrived at 2am after delayed flights from NZ and were welcomed by a smiling face. Amazing hot shower, good AC on a hot night and good dark rooms for a sleep in. Buffet breakfast offered everything and more. Easy parking. A quick drive to the town centre. Easy access to the main route to Portugal from there.
