Very nice little hotel set in a quiet village outside of Leiria. The hotel was exactly as the pictures, but felt more spacious. The dining room is obviously a local hotspot, as it was full when we checked in and we had already been advised to book a table ahead if we wanted to dine. Easy and free parking, easy checkin and check out, and the place suited us perfectly. We will definitely return for another visit.

With a prime location in the historic centre of Batalha, the recently-renovated Hotel Lis Batalha faces the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

My room had a great view. Staff lovely. Good restaurant attached, which was useful. Breakfast good. It's also handy to be able to stay later than most tourists and see the monastery while quiet. Short walk from bus station.

Friendly reception, comfortable and clean room, heated indoor pool, well maintained outdoor pool and very good breakfast. Also booked a massage on site which was very good.

Hotel location (5 min walking from the cathedral), cleanliness, staff, breakfast and free parking....all was perfect! We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was absolutely excellent. If we go back to Fatima it will be the first place I'll try to book.
