A flat-screen TV is included in all rooms. The room was large and well equipped with a good view, the front desk were very helpful and Canmore itself was beautiful. The Policemans Creek boardwalk into town from the lodge was very scenic.

Alpine Centre HI Banff offers private and dorm-style rooms. Select rooms have en suite bathrooms. The staff here are amazing—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room is a bit tight for the number of beds, but it’s manageable. Adding privacy curtains to the bunk beds would make a big difference, especially given the limited space. The facilities are decent and kept clean. It’s conveniently located near the bus station. The location is great—away from the hustle and chaos of the town center and closer to the mountains, just the way I like it. Overall, it’s a great value for money and a solid spot to meet other backpackers and solo travelers.
