When we came through the front door we were greeted by Vittorio, the owner and proprietor. As requested by the sign, we removed our street shoes and walked into an immaculately clean and inviting environment. The entire bed and breakfast is thoughtfully decorated and very warm. Vittorio took us to our room and provided us with information about the bed and breakfast. The room was very nice, complete with a comfortable mattress and a very nice bathroom. We stayed there 3 nights and, therefore, we enjoyed 3 distinctly different and delicious breakfasts. After learning that my wife is lactose intolerant he purchased lactose-free milk to make her scrambled eggs on the second day. Vittorio is an exceptionally considerate host. We highly recommend you stay at the Century House Bed and Breakfast when visiting Ottawa. You'll be most pleased.

Surrounded by well-tended grounds, Butterfly Manor is just 3 km from the popular Niagara Falls. We found the couple who ran the manor very friendly and helpful. They advised us the best way to get tickets for the Niagara Falls boat trip, seeing it was a weekend and the lines would be long. It was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Parking on site and the beds were very comfortable. We have traveled from New Zealand and would recommend this manor.
