We liked the interior design of the public areas, which displayed an unusual selection of materials and furnishings: a modern hotel like no other I have seen.

The owner has sensitively restored the old stone building, retaining its ancient stonework and restoring exposed and time-blackened wooden beams. The guest rooms are simply but comfortably decorated, each with a small private bathroom with shower. Beautiful room--loved the stone walls--just inside the old city. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was attentive, warm, and helpful. All in all, a lovely stay.
