Located in the centre of Bayeux, the Domaine de Bayeux is set in an 18th century house featuring a tree-lined park. There are guest rooms in the main building and a further 11 air-conditioned designer bedrooms available in the extension of the orchard, each with private terrace or balcony. Beautiful building and room, great location and very friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend and would stay there again.

A sauna and a hot tub are available on site at an extra cost. Beautiful location in the countryside that's very convenient to Bayeux and Omaha Beach. The choice of breakfast items was small but high quality and delicious. Excellent start to each day. I also appreciated that they tidied up the room while we were gone. Not all B&Bs do that. I would've gladly stayed a week.

Guest rooms are bright and have a colourful décor. They each have their own private entrance and are equipped with free Wi-Fi access. A hairdryer and shower can be found in the en suite bathrooms. The larger suites are composed of 2 communicating bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Property was very cute with a beautiful garden. The room for our family was spacious and clean. Location was amazing, literally beside the famous Tapestry. Our host Jenna was so friendly and made it a point to remember all of our names before we arrived. Felt like visiting an old friend. Breakfast was really nice as well with a large selection of breads, cereal, eggs, and drinks.

The spacious, soundproofed rooms have a private bathroom. Location was great. A short walk to the main street with shops, restaurants and site seeing. A bonus is that there is a park across the street! Not far from Normandy. Bayeux has a wonderful D-Day museum and cemetery which are within walking distance. The person helping us with breakfast and check-in and check-out was wonderful! She even made me homemade hot chocolate each morning since I don't drink coffee! Room was spacious and very comfortable.

The luxury accommodation features period-style furniture, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. They have an individual colour theme using neutral tones and printed fabrics. Each has a private bathroom with a marble floor, bathrobes and slippers. We spent 3 weeks in France and stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels. Villa Lara was our favorite by far. It's a feel-good place and the staff is exceptional.

This residence consists of 2 properties located in the Normandy town of Courseulles-sur-Mer. La Cremaillere Hôtel-Restaurant is a seafront residence and La Crémaillère Côté Jardin is situated 100 metres from the beach. Free WiFi is available throughout. What an AMAZING find. Last minute booking. Great car parking facilities. On Jeno Beach. AMAZING location, wonderful room over looking the beach. The restaurant was simply wonderful, in my top 10 meals of 2024. I cannot recommend highly enough.

This former 18th-century post office is now a charming hotel located in one of Bayeux’s oldest quarters. It offers 24-hour reception and is just 400 metres from the Bayeux Tapestry Museum.

Free Wi-Fi access is provided in each soundproofed room. All rooms are light and spacious and have their own bathroom with a hairdryer. We booked Hotel Le Lion while in Bayeux, after a terrible experience at Moulin Morin (where we had initially booked 3 nights together with our friends). As we were on vacation, there was no point in suffering more than one night, so I looked for other options. There were many choices on Booking, but after a careful analysis we chose Hotel Le Lion and it was the best choice! I felt sorry we didn't choose well in the first place and waisted money, time and ruining the vacation mood on Moulin Morin. By comparison, Le Lion was worth every penny. I felt sorry we had to live after 2 nights, but we had a plane to catch. To sum up: Large, beautiful room, very clean, water and coffee machine in the room, also Dyson Cool in the room. High bed, very comfortable mattress. All the staff was very professional, even better than at some 5 * chain hotels. It exceeded my expectations and I have high standards. Excellent breakfast, very diverse choices of cheese, meat, bread, sweets, a wide variety of fruits (from cherries to dragon fruit), almond milk. We booked the dinner at La Table du Lion one of the evenings: excellent food, impeccable service. In the morning, apart from breakfast, in the reception there were croissants and lemonade. At the reception desk we received very good recommendations for things to do in Bayeux. Excellent stay, overall!!
