The host was very nice and met me in the door despite I arrived quiet late. They even offered to help me carry my luggage from the car. I felt very welcomed. It was located just a few minutes by car to the Ferry terminal in Oban. I left very early in the morning to catch the Ferry and the host offered to preparere some sandwiches for me to bring.

With a 4-star rating from Visit Scotland, the pretty Struan House B&B is found on Tarbert’s peaceful harbour-side. With beautiful views across the water to the hills beyond, Struan House provides free WiFi. This was the best B&B we stayed at during our visit to Scotland. The hosts were very friendly. The room was spotlessly clean. The porridge, with a Mexican twist, was the best of the whole trip.
