Just 3 miles from Halifax, this family-run 17th-century inn has an award-winning restaurant offering excellent locally sourced food and a cosy bar. There is free Wi-Fi and traditional log fires. They set up the room in a vintage style, complete with an analog phone and a radio. I just love how they care about these details. Super!

In the pretty village of Calverley, this 19th-century inn is just 7 miles from Leeds and offers an on-site pub with hearty food. Free parking is available, and Leeds Bradford Airport is 6 miles away. The restaurant staff were excellent and main course superb. Bedrooms are excellent with lots of plugs and all staff are so friendly with breakfast the following day perfect.
