Everything was perfect, starting with the staff -many thanks to George😊-continuing with the room (absolutelly lovely), facilities and the perfect location of the inn in a very nice and quite area (very close to the center and at the same time to the train station). As an extra, the bar was wonderfully decorated for Christmas.

The property has a contemporary bar with local real ales, restaurant, free parking and free WiFi. This is a very welcoming pub. The staff, especially Debbie, Katie and Georgia were in particular, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and comfortable. The food was excellent and I particularly loved the outside space. We will definitely stay here again.

Great facilities, perfect to relax and for work and informal meetings. Nice kitchen. Lovely living room with tv and fireplace so nice and warm. Big bed and excellent shower and bath. Everything to a high standard. As I was staying there for a number of days washing machine with washing powder and iron were good too. No complaints.

Beautiful building with vintage interior. Very comfortable and cosy beds, new bathroom with hot shower.June is so welcoming and friendly, gave us a map and explained how to get to places. Breakfast was excellent, many choices and beautifully served. All members of staff are so well mannered, friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay at Ascot house and would highly recommend it.

The building is a Grade II Listed Regency townhouse with sash windows, high ceilings, a sweeping central staircase, and ivy around the door. Inside you’ll find pantries stocked full of treats, great restaurant food throughout the day, drinks from the bar and a spa centred on bespoke therapies. Excellent hotel , very friendly staff. Beds were sooo comfortable But the high lights of our stay were the train by the fire place, and the great selection of vinyls that you could actualy take up to your room
