The resort has only eight villas, which made it quiet and very relaxing. The staff were all exceptionally lovely and friendly and we loved all the food, the amazing breakfasts and looked forward to afternoon tea everyday! We also enjoyed taking the bikes out for a ride along the beach. Everything was very comfortable and clean, including the pool which our 10-year-old particularly enjoyed. It was truly one of the best holidays we have had as a family in a long time so thank you so much for having us Klumpu. We look forward to visiting again!

Nike Villas is a 5-minute walk from the boutique shops, restaurants and nightlife of Sanur, a 10-minute walk from Karang Beach. This was a haven of rest and peace hidden in bustling Sanur. This is a lovely, small boutique hotel. We asked for a hotel pickup which was free as we were staying more than three days. We were told our driver would have a red flag and a sign. At the airport there were hoards of taxi drivers all hustling for business - we wondered if we would find ours - we saw his red flag, read his sign and he was dressed in the light tan uniform all our Hotel staff wore. Very neat. At the reception desk, we were welcomed by very friendly receptionists. They explained everything we needed to know and took our order for the included afternoon tea which could be delivered to your room or served in the small outdoor, covered restaurant. The place was like a small tropical lagoon, lots of plants, trees, birdsong, soft balinese music, charcoal / incense burners. It was like living in a spa. Our room was very clean, our bed was a big four poster draped with mosquito nets which were tied back during the day and surrounded the bed at night. The whole property gets misted for mosquitos once a week as well. We never saw a mosquito the whole time we were there - we felt that the care the hotel took in prevention was the reason for that. The breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious The character of the hotel is spa-like and peaceful. Lovely touches like flower petals in a bowl of water in the bathroom wicker baskets, solid wood, stone tiles in the large shower, lovely scents everywhere all created a Balinese calm which was very relaxing. We didn't hire a car there but the hotel was happy to take us to the Sanur harbour in their people carrier for free. The small road outside the hotel was narrow and not busy, just a short walk to the main street which was busy, bustling and full of shops and restaurants. A new mall is a short walk away - it has a great open access to the beach behind it and beach walks along its paths. We loved our week there.

The staff were trained to work efficiently and minimise eye contact with you when sitting out by the poolside minimally dressed so we're very respectful. Always very helpful and polite. The food was very well presented and fresh produce.
