Genuinely dont know where to start as - even before we reached the place - we realized the exceptional service that was awaiting us. Not only did they accept us even post the their normal check-in timings - Alex for genuinely concerned about us - which was visible as we arrived - which was much more than anyone could ask for, and John going 'Above and Beyond' to help us with some wonderful Dinner - I dont think I would be able to justify in words how exceptional their service was and for sure would Visit again - and recommend others too :) Alex and John - Can't thank you'll enough!

The award winning Library Restaurant serves fresh country house cuisine, with our signature dish 'The Drunken Bullock' steak flambéed at the table on a 15th Century Sword. The Tween Decks provides fantastic, 17th-century nautical decor, and the Armada Bar is built from the salvaged, 400-year old wood of shipwrecked Spanish ships Great place to stay, so historical and incredible interior. Very delicious breakfast!

Located next to Ashford Castle, The Lodge at Ashford Castle is set on 10 acres of grounds, overlooking Lough Corrib in Cong. Dating back to 1845, this contemporary country house hotel boasts free WiFi and free parking. The Lodge way exceeded our expectations, its almost value for money (inspite of it not being cheap) because of so much to do around the place

The properties are adjacent to Clooneen House and include an award-winning spa and a modern gym, along with a 20-metre swimming pool, sauna, and a hot tub. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent as it was cooked fresh shortly after you placed your order. The property was next door to the hotel I was attending a wedding in so this was an excellent location for me.

The room itself was clean, pleasantly warm and cozy. The service was nice and friendly.
