The Antica Dimora offers accommodation in a 16th-century Palazzo in Bergamo, next to Suardi Park and 1 km from the cable car with links to Città Alta, Bergamo’s historical city centre. Very nice and friendly stuff, excellent location (we walked around without moving the car from the reserved parking). The room (Ellizabetta) was big and very clean.

I can normally find fault with just about anything - but I'm struggling here. Petronilla is a small boutique hotel in a quiet street close to the centre of the lower town. It is well positioned to walk up to the older, picturesque upper town (or for the funicular). The hotel is well appointed and comfortable - we were upgraded, so all rooms may not be quite as good as ours: spacious, tastefully decorated with a vast bed and equally huge bathroom. The road outside was very quiet at night for a city centre - even on the night Atalanta beat AC Milan. Breakfast was outstanding (I would particularly recommend the cheese omelette). But what really stands out here is the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff who were all absolutely outstanding. Many thanks to you all - now where is that sixth star when you need it ?

Located in Bergamo, Al San Lorenzo offers accommodation on the first floor of an historical building. The property is 100 metres from Cappella Colleoni. Perfect location at the heart of Citta Alta, just a few meters from Piazza Vecchia. A very comfortable room (La Fille du Regiment), a lovely terrace (unfortunately I could not enjoy it because of heavy rain), very quite and perfect for relaxing, a selection of teas and biscuits and a very helpful and sympathetic host Ms. Giovanna.

Giuseppe was an amazing host! He was very kind and helpful, explained everything so well and gave us lots of information needed for our stay in Bergamo. The room was clean and very comfortable and the place is ideally located near cafes, restaurants, shops and the train station. We really enjoyed our stay.

Featuring an outdoor pool surrounded by a garden, Colletto AgriBioRelais is set in a peaceful area 6 km outside Villongo and a 15-minute drive from Sarnico. That is a small and beautiful hotel. More than we expected. The service was the nicest. The view is beautiful. Very clean. Small and nice pull. Great atmosphere, relaxing. The host- Valentina is wonderfull, give you the best service and homely feeling. She was very welcoming, nice and even ordered a pizza for us from a local pizza place, even the fact they have a dinner in the hotel. We had a room for a famly, but it's perfect for couples too. Very recommended. We loved the place.

The best things about this property are: - the location, 15 minutes walk to the cità Alta and very close as well to the train station, - the absence of noise coming from the street, - the amazing availability of the owner to give great recommendations of places to visit around Bergamo.

GombitHotel is set in Bergamo centre, a 2-minute walk from Santa Maria Maggiore Cathedral. It offers air-conditioned rooms with minibar, TV and free Wi-Fi. My room was spacious , spotless and quiet. The hotel location is great. And… the reception spoke English and actually understood my fast kiwi . A bonus. Breakfast was great and coffee awesome. This hotel was closed for about 18months after pandemic and I for one are really pleased for them that business is doing well. I have been to Bergamo a few times but I will always stay here in the future and would highly recommend this hotel.
