The house itself nicely decorated for Christmas, and rooms are big enough to keep luggage. The caretaker Sita was very humble and helpful person.. We reached well past 11pm, welcomed us with smiling face. Though we ciuldn't meet the owner, but he was always there to help/suggest from the date of booking. Many eateries are near by... We would love to stay again in future.

Loved the whole feel of the place, it is like an oasis in the middle of the city, serene, spa like, with big super comfortable rooms, super comfy beds, marvellous bathroom. We enjoyed the food immensly, hat off to the chefs! Most of all, we appreciated the attentivness of the staff. Everyone was excellent. Mohamed who organized all our tours and helped us with useful tips. And our favourite, most kind and professional Sachit Lakshan, whom we adored and would recommend to every hotel :) we do not remember other names but have to give compliments to each and everyone who made our stay there so exquisit Thank you all. Zylan Colombo is 2 km from National Museum and Independent Square, while Colombo City Centre is 3 km away. The resort is a 5-minute drive from Boralella Bus Station. We were only in Columbo for one night at the end of our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka but wished we could have stayed here longer. We booked a suite and a double room, both of which were furnished to a very high standard. We generally like to go out and discover different restaurants but due to time we had lunch in the hotel which was Thai and Japanese. The food was so good that we had dinner there too! There are restaurants on the ground floor and also the rooftop which was lovely at night to eat under the stars. Great cocktails too.
