While it looks cool in the photos, it is even cooler to experience in person. We loved having breakfast on the terrace every morning and the pool is my favorite pool I've ever swam in. The servers, Deen and Rex, added to our stay with their friendliness and exceptional service. Location is great in that it is close to town, but also secluded from the hustle and bustle of Weligama. There are tuk tuk drivers always waiting outside the gate to take you where ever you need to go. I'd recommend staying here 10 out of 10 times and hope to return one day!

The best option in the whole South Sri Lanka. Truely loved it atmosphere, rooms, and service.

The building is an exclusive villa and features colourful rooms with antique furnishings and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful location with very relaxing atmosphere and spacious rooms. The bathroom had the biggest rainfall shower head I’ve ever experienced! The bed was very comfortable and rooms had A/C which was much needed in the heat and humidity. The staff are so accommodating and friendly, special thanks to the two young men who served our meals and helped us with our luggage and any other requests (one named Madushanka, I’m so sorry I did not get both their names), istuti🙏

Set in the south of Sri Lanka just a 45-minute drive from Galle City, Handagedara Resort & Spa is also a 1.5-hour drive from the beautiful Sinharaja Rainforest. Bandaranaike International Airport is 3 hours away by car. By far the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The shower had warm water, the swimming pool was very pleasant and clean, with comfortable sunbeds, pool towels, and even a bar. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and in the room we had tea, coffee, and water that was replenished daily. The finishing touches throughout the hotel were beautiful, and we also felt safe with a security guard at the entrance in the evenings. What made our stay truly outstanding was the personal service: snorkeling, surfing, and even a taxi were all arranged for us at very good prices. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience!

Situated 1 km from whale watching at Mirissa Lagoon, Morning Star Guest House offers a spacious common living area with plush sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a seaview balcony. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is provided. The most positive impression was definitely made by the owners of Morning Star and all the staff - wonderful people! Very good breakfasts, comfortable rooms, large bathroom. In the evening you can sit on the chairs outside and watch the fireflies. The location allows you to commune with nature - monkeys, squirrels, peacocks and even monitor lizards come to visit!
