Atlantida Mar is a contemporary hotel featuring designer guestrooms with panoramic views. Everyone was super welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet which was included in our stay was amazing! Rooms (and the property as a whole) were really nice, clean and quite large. We had four people and didn't feel cramped at all. Plenty of space for all of our stuff. Good parking outside. Easy walking place to the nearest town and some smaller beaches. Nice pool with chairs, jacuzzi and gym. It was also super close to the airport and since we had to leave quite early to make our flight, this was super helpful.

Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Featuring a privileged view of the mountains and the sea, the resort offers direct access to the beach, a beach bar, a swimming pool and a restaurant. Oh, I am in love with this place: the room, surrounding area, service, food - all were perfect. We stayed in the room with the pool. It was cold to swim, obviously, but nice to look at. The view on the ocean and mountains is breathtaking. Sunrise paints your room in different colors, tiny birds play and sing on the grass in front of the house every morning. Perfect. And they prepared special tea ritual every evening for us.

The staff is great, the apartment is lovely and very nicely designed. There is a common room where you can get coffee and cookies whenever you like and a pool with salty water. We appreciated that we had basic things in our apartment like salt, pepper, olive oil and coffee. Also, there is a laundry room. Overall, staying at Pico guarantees that you will have a relaxing holiday.
