Visiting the Douro region I found the best thing to do is to stay here. You will experience everything Douro region has to offer! Throughout your visit you will experience several tasting of the excellent portwines of the house. And staying there you don’t need to drive anymore. (Large carpark). There is a joint drink followed by a communal dinner. The food is excellent and portwines are used in the food as well. It’s a very nice to socialize with other guests. There is a lovely swimming pool with nice seating area overlooking the wineslopes. Rooms are spotless, very comfortabel and atmospheric. Last but not least: there is a beautiful 2 hour hike from the premises through the winefields with magnificant Douro riverviews from high above! This all makes for an unforgettable experience! Offering an outdoor pool surrounded by vineyards and a lush garden area, Casa da Azenha is located in Lamego. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. The gardens were beautiful for strolling. The common space outside and in the breakfast room was brilliantly conducive for meeting other guests and swapping ideas. Maria was absolutely lovely and helpful and arranged a few unforgettable experiences. We hope to return one day!

Everything! Margarida was wonderful, very thoughtful and welcoming. We're a vegan couple and she made us exceptional breakfast. She also gave recommendations for restaurants and travelling in the area. The house itself is beautiful, clean, very cozy and pleasant. The suite is great, we especially enjoyed the bathtub and the fireplace. And of course the view is amazing.

Quinta do Tedo is an award-winning agrotourism that provides accommodation with breakfast included. Great location, amazing view, Kajaks without additional fee, good port wines, super clean, comfortable bed and the staff was very friendly

The **Quinta de Fiães** is a charming farm house located in the heart of the Douro Valley, just 1 km from the village of Vilar de Maçada. It’s a beautiful renovated home with a lot of character and charm. Beautiful scenery and great spot to relax!
