Offering an outdoor pool surrounded by vineyards and a lush garden area, Casa da Azenha is located in Lamego. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. Maria is an amazing person along with the other employees they make a stay here very memorable. Maria is very kind and offers lots of information and kindly arranged a table at a beautiful restaurantfor us on the day of arrival. the property is set in an amazing location, with private pool and absolutely gorgeous gardens. Communal breakfast in the morning in the courtyard is really nice touch also. We could have stayed for a month!

Don't forget to book this. The quality of sleep and breakfast is top star! and the wines and olive oil are so good too.

This 17th-century mansion offers contemporary-style rooms with modern comforts in Provesende, a 15-minute drive from Pinhão Train Station. Morgadio da Calçada is 11 km from Douro River. The ancient house is situated within the vineyards. The house is already for 400 years in de family. Very friendly owner and staff. Breakfast was excellent (you could order any kind of eggs) and the bread was freshly baked. Dinner with wine pairings was top of the pudding! Nice swimming pool!

Hotel Muchacho is a design hotel with a bright, purple exterior and rooms with balconies and private bathrooms. Situated in the centre of Macedo de Cavaleiros, it provides free private parking. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had requested a room with two beds but changed to one bed and the room was large, very comfortable and with a balcony. Breakfast was ample with many delicious homemade products. The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone at this family run establishment cannot be overstated. We hope to return.
