Very nice accommodation. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless clean. The orner was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The location was very convenient as 5 minutes away from buses.

Staff was so kind and helpful. Rooms were so clean. Breakfast also was very nice. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and it's only 10 minutes to the city center. If we come again to Salzburg, 100% we will stay here :)

We loved everything about Gasthof Maria Plain! We had no idea where it was located in relationship to Salzburg, but we had admired the church from the road as we came in. Imagine our surprise when we saw we were going up that hill towards the church. Parking was easy & convenient. The second surprise is that the hotel had its own charming Christmas market. The rooms were clean & comfortable, & every room had a breathtaking view. The fact that we arrived after a big snow storm just added to the beauty. It was a short & inexpensive cab ride to central Salzburg. The restaurant had a good menu, great food & reasonable prices. Breakfast was very nice. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We will be back next spring!

Beautiful interiors, spacious room, decorated in old style, large bed with canopy and clean linen. Very good breakfast, lots of choice, also gluten free. Coffee from the coffee machine also with soya milk. It was nice to stay in a stylish interior. Excellent location for an overnight stay going to Italy for skiing and returning.

You couldn't get the location any better. Everything is just top notch. The vicinity, the lake nearby, and the staff are nothing short of amazing. Weather and the nature around the hotel made the stay more memorable. The hotel sits in the middle of a village and the peace is so mesmerizing.
