The people working in the place are very friendly, making the stay more comfortable.
For the price I paid the food and the service was excellent.
What I liked the most was their kindness, warmth and willingness to help. The beds are good and with a lot of privacy. That's important, they don't make noise when you sleep.

Hotel Diplomat is ideally located in Kings Cross and easily accessible to buses and trains
It oozes charm and albeit its proximity to a number of bars and clubs it’s pretty quiet throughout the hotel (I would recommend asking for a room towards the rear of the property for lighter sleepers.
The reception staff were the most accommodating I’ve ever experienced in near 55 years of travel around the world!
The room was extremely comfortable and the bedding and linen were obviously hand picked - so much so I took photos of the towels and pillow labels to buy myself in the future!

I was surprised because this hostel had a free gym and also free dinners. It made it good value for money!
