Everything was to like about this beautiful hotel, with profesisonal and caring staff, perfect location and excellent facilities. This is truly a hotel I would visit again and again. The breakfast was top notch, staff never said no for anything to accommodate us and our kids. Its a great place to explore the whole of belgium and of course the beautiful and charming city of Ghent.

Location was great and the view spectacular. The hotel is located in a busy tourist spot, but was quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent, and in a beautiful setting. Lastly, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff made it a very special stay.

The apartment is unique – well appointed, very comfortable, and conveniently located close to Ghent’s main attractions. The historic building combined with the stunning interior design made the stay truly memorable. Communication with the host was prompt and very friendly. The added convenience of a Carrefour just a few meters from the entrance was a real bonus. This has been my best stay in Ghent so far.

The Verhaegen is a gem near the historical center. It is masterfully decorated like the luxurious 18th century building it is, while featuring all expected current day amenities. The hosts were very friendly and helpful as well.

Super cozy, super clean house with all amenities you need for your stay. It has three bedrooms, two overlooking garden and one facing the street which is really quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you can imagine, hosts even left us coffee and tea and some individually packed food to feel more welcome. One bathroom with bath and toilet upstairs and one toilet only downstairs. The most beautiful part of the house is dining area with large table overlooking small garden in rustic style with a small pond, seating area and a hammock. Very good for families and groups of friends since it is very close to the city center (it would be right to say the house is IN the city center). Last but not least, communication with the host was fast and easy.

The location of the hostel is just perfect. I had an amazing view directly from my bed. If you want you can request for the the room 5-3B bed 😬 it’s an upper bunk but the views are to die for. The hostel is an old building (I think from 1600s) and gives the perfect view of the Ghent city. The staff is courteous and very helpful. The property is very clean and there is an amazing common kitchen where you can cook :). Lots of common places and lockers available (on rent). The tours would start from the hostel which was an added bonus. They also kayaking services but I wasn’t able to use the same. All the doors are digitally unlocked and is a boon. Overall it was a wonderful stay ☺️
