It's an experience and not just a stay, it's located in an old authentic building and very classic in it's design and ambiance. Self check -in is very easy. The room and bathroom are spotless. The staff, especially Stephan, are very helpful and understanding. The bed is extremely comfortable and the room is quiet. The kitchen is backed with different kind of freebies like teas, honey and spices. Cook your own food is a lovely idea. Very close to the train station and transportation.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Maria Bern. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and completely at ease. The apartment was spotless, beautifully modern, and so comfortable — it truly had everything I could have wished for during my visit. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk to the city center and perfectly connected by public transport. What really stood out to me were the thoughtful details and little touches that made the place feel like a home away from home. It was quiet, spacious, and such a peaceful retreat after exploring the city. The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I genuinely loved my time here and left with only the best memories. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend Casa Maria Bern to anyone visiting the city. For me, it was a perfect 10/10 stay!

Anne and Andy could not have made my stay more perfect. I had been on business all week in a larger hotel and with meetings every day, the quiet setting in such a lovely location was what I needed. Though it was November I was able to walk around the grounds and town in the day and I was able to see the cows when they came in to feed at night. Heidi, their dog, was happy to greet me which in addition to the friendliness and helpfulness of Anne made me feel at home. There are 2 rooms for guests and then large common area, modern bath and quaint kitchen which I was worried about at first, but everything is so organized. You have your own spaces in the bathroom and kitchen so always know where you can put your things. The breakfast is so generous (with freshly baked bread daily) that I had leftover that I used it for my evening meal. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quiet place in the country yet just a few short kilometers from Bern.
