The location is perfect for exploring the old town of Lausanne in walking distance. The staff are incredibly friendly and amazing. They freely even excitedly offered suggestions for dining and attractions. The room is pretty spatial and clean. Breakfast is great with a diversity of food. Definitely will stay there again. Lovely hotel and staff.

It was close to the metro station Ours, which was good if coming by train from le gare or boat from Ouchy. It was also close to some good restaurants. It had coffee and tea making facilities in the room. It had a reasonably priced breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room facilities were modern and clean. All in all an excellent experience. I wish all hotels had this high standard.

The Hotel Continental was originally built for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne and was recently refurbished, modernized and enlarged.

Great location. Near the central train station. Great restaurants in the hotel and around Flon is just up the hill...Lake Geneva is down the hill... exceptional views. Breakfast is good with a variety. The lifts work fast.

My favorite place to stay in Lausanne. The location is perfect, I love the scent of the hotel and its unique atmosphere. People at the reception are very friendly. You simply feel welcomed, while you stay very close to the important parts of the city. The hotel is located only a few minutes from the Flon station, and it takes up to 15 minutes to get to the train station.

The Swiss Wine by Fassbind faces the Lausanne's impressive Gothic Cathedral and is only a few steps away from the city's major shopping district.

On booking, I asked if there were coffee facilities in the room as it appeared that some rooms did not have this. The hotel staff went out of their way to provide me with a room that had a coffee machine, which happened to be a bigger room than the one I had booked - so effectively an upgrade.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of my stay was undeniably the exceptional staff. Bochra and Aiguerim went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my time there. Upon arrival, they generously upgraded my room to accommodate my request for a peaceful environment, and it made all the difference. Additionally, despite my early arrival at around Ten in the morning, they kindly facilitated an early check-in at no extra cost, understanding my exhaustion from a long train journey. Their thoughtfulness and dedication truly exemplify the quality of service at this establishment. Aside from the outstanding staff, the hotel's prime location, right next to Lausanne Central Station and with a bus stop nearby, made getting around a piece of cake. Overall, while the hotel itself offers a pleasant experience, it is truly the exceptional staff that sets it apart. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile make this establishment a standout choice for who are seeking not just accommodation, but genuine hospitality.
