Although it's rated as a 3-star, the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere made it feel like so much more—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip through Italy and Switzerland. The rooms are big with nice big terrasses and great views to the mountains, lake and swimming pool. The hotel feels like a spa hotel with the excellent swimming pool (but without any treatments offered). The location is perfect - close to the lake and you can walk/ run by the lake. The hotel is only 15 mins walk from Locarno city. The rooms are expensive but nevertheless we would like to return for a couple of days at a later time point because it is high quality and excellent staff.
